The Glimpses of South India is a beautiful 13-night/14-day journey through the diverse landscapes, culture, wildlife, beaches, backwaters, hill stations, and royal heritage of South India. Beginning in Trivandrum, the tour takes you to the beautiful coastal resort of Kovalam, famous for its golden sandy beaches, swaying coconut palms, peaceful surroundings, and relaxing atmosphere. Continue to Alleppey, the heart of Kerala's famous backwaters, where tranquil canals, lagoons, traditional villages, and beautiful waterways offer an authentic glimpse into Kerala's unique lifestyle. The journey then moves to Thekkady, gateway to the Periyar region, where lush forests and rich biodiversity provide opportunities to experience wildlife and explore the famous spice-growing areas of Kerala. Proceed to Munnar, one of South India's most picturesque hill stations, surrounded by rolling tea plantations, misty mountains, green valleys, and cool pleasant weather. Explore attractions such as Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar, and the scenic tea gardens, while enjoying the peaceful beauty of the Western Ghats. Continue to Cochin, the historic “Queen of the Arabian Sea,” where colonial heritage and Kerala traditions come together through the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and Hill Palace Museum. The journey then crosses into Tamil Nadu and takes you to Ooty, the “Queen of Southern Hill Resorts,” famous for its spectacular Nilgiri landscapes, tea plantations, grassy meadows, cool climate, and peaceful mountain atmosphere. * Arrive into Trivandrum. Welcome to 'Glimpses of Tamil Nadu Tour'. 

* On arrival in Trivandrum, you will be pick up from airport and drop to Kovalam by our representative to hotel.

* Rest of the day free at leisure

* Overnight: Hotel


* Kovalam is just 16 kms away from Trivandrum. 

* This enchanting strip of golden sands is laced with the rich greenery of coconut palms. 

* A former fishing village. An evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort. 

* It is a dreamy place for tourists.

 * This morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey (100 kms/03 hrs) and on arrival, check in to hotel.

* Alleppey, situated in south of Cochin, is the centre for backwater cruises in Kerala. 

* It has a large network of canals which passes through the town, provices its lifeline & has a long sandy beach. 

* It is also the centre of the famous coir products of Kerala.

* Later proceed on a city tour of Alleppey Boat ride in Lake Periyar to watch wildlife. 

* Later visit Kumily spice market

 * This morning after breakfast, drive to Thekkady. 

* On arrival, check into hotel. 

* Afternoon visit to Periyar Wildlife sanctuary is one of the best maintained wildlife sanctuaries in Southern India, giving an opportunity of spotting elephants, leopards, tigers and bisons, amongst various other species of flora and fauna.

 * After breakfast later proceed on a city tour of Munnar Eravikulam National Park to see rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, Old Munnar Town, Dairy Farm and the Mattupetty Dam

* Upon arrival, check into Hotel.

* Kochin is the business capital of Kerala. It has a fine natural harbour & is widely acclaimed as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea". 

* The city spreads over several Island, the chief among them being Wellingdon, Mattanchery, Vipin, Gundu & Bolgaty. 

* The 16th century Dutch palace, the oldest Synagogue of the British common wealth. 

* Hill palace Museum, Bolgatty Palace & Bird sanctuary.

* Rest of the day at leisure.

* Overnight : Hotel

 * This morning proceed on a city sightseeing tour.

* City tour of Cochin Visit the Dutch palace, Jewish Synagogue, chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Church. 

* Also visit the Hill Palace Museum which displays articles of archeological importance.

* Overnight : Hotel

 * After breakfast drive to Ooty and upon arrival check in to Hotel.

* Ooty : The 'Queen of southern hill resorts', is a hill station situated at a height of 7349 feet above sea level in the Nilgiri mountain ranges in Tamil Nadu. 

* Also known as Udhagamandalam, it is known for its salubrious climate and scenic beauty, with breathtaking views of tea-plantations and undisturbed grassy meadows.

* Overnight : Hotel

 * After breakfast visit the Tea plantations and cherish the scenic beauty of Ooty "The Queen of southern hill resorts". 

* Rest of the day at leisure.

 * After breakfast drive to Mysore and transfer to hotel.

* Afternoon depart for half-day city tour, visit the Maharaja's Palace, the lush Brindavan Gardens with its dancing fountains built on the terraces of Krishnarajasagar Dam, St.Philomena's Church built in an imposing Gothic style, the Jaganmohan Palace which was converted into an art gallery in 1875 and the Chamundi Hills.

* Mysore is also called the city of Palaces, Mysore combines traditional grandeur with modernity and emerges as one of the most beautiful and best planned cities in India.

 * After breakfast drive to Bangalore and transfer to hotel.

* Bangalore: This bustling capital city of Karnataka has a perpetual holiday atmosphere. It is multifaceted modern marvels, historical monuments, bustling shopping plazas, a golf course and a race course. 

* A trip here can be truly delightful. 

* Bangalore is known as the city of draught beer. 

* It is also known as the 'garden city' and the 'silicon valley' of India since it is the IT capital of India.
